Twins sign Rafael Perez to minor league deal

Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Twins have signed pitcher Rafael Perez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Perez appeared in just eight games for the Indians last season due to a shoulder injury that required surgery in September. He went 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA prior to the injury.

The left-hander was 21-12 with three saves and a 3.64 ERA in 338 career games with the Indians.
