Recap: Pittsburgh vs. Toronto

Bradenton, FL (Sports Network) - Carlos Paulino singled in the deciding run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Pittsburgh Pirates a 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays in a Grapefruit League bout.

The Pirates trailed 4-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth, but pulled within one on Felix Pie's leadoff homer and forced extra frames when Josh Harrison came through with an RBI ground-rule double with Pittsburgh down to its final out.

Harrison had an RBI single in the eighth as well, while Starling Marte finished 2-for-3 with a run scored for the Bucs.

Pittsburgh starter James McDonald worked 5 1/3 innings, surrendering three runs while striking out five on the afternoon.

Mike Nickeas went 3-for-4 with an RBI single for Toronto, with Adam Lind driving in the Blue Jays' other run as part of a 2-for-3 day at the plate.

Mark Buehrle threw the first 3 2/3 innings for the Blue Jays and yielded just one run on four hits.
