Recap: Saint Josephs vs. Florida State

Brooklyn, New York (Sports Network) - Okaro White led four scorers in double figures for Florida State as the Seminoles took care of the Saint Joseph's Hawks, 73-66, in the championship game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at the Barclays Center.

White finished with 16 points for Florida State (3-1) while Terrance Shannon had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Michael Snaer chipped in 14 points and Montay Brandon had 11.

Ronald Roberts had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds for Saint Joseph's (2-1). Carl Jones added 13 points, Chris Wilson put in 11 and C.J. Aiken tacked on 10 more.

Florida State led 36-32 at halftime after shooting a stellar 53.8 percent from the floor.

In the second half the Seminoles continued to shoot at a high percentage (55.2 percent). The Hawks meanwhile were successful on just 40.7 percent of their shot attempts.

Florida State finished with 21 assists as a team led by Ian Miller who had six.
