Recap: Delaware vs. Towson

Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Devon Saddler had 28 points, Jarvis Threatt scored 15 and Delaware posted a 72-65 win over Towson in the first round of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.

Saddler made 4-of-9 three pointers and shot 10-of-12 from the foul line.

Josh Brinkley added 14 points for fifth-seeded Delaware (18-12), which advanced despite shooting just 38.5 percent against the conference's last- place team.

The Blue Hens will take on No. 4 seed Old Dominion on Saturday.

Robert Nwankwo posted an impressive double-double of 27 points and 20 rebounds for the 12th-seeded Tigers, who finished their season with just one win in 32 games.
