Recap: Cal State Fullerton vs. Montana State

Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - Isiah Umipig paced four teammates in double figures with 24 points as the Cal State Fullerton Titans made easy work of the Montana State Bobcats in a BracketBuster tilt at Titan Gym.

Orane Chin scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for Fullerton (18-7), which has won five in a row. Kwame Vaughn and Sedric Martin each tallied 13 points for the Titans.

For Montana State (11-15), Shawn Reid scored 20 points, Tre Johnson chipped in 14 points, and Mohamed Fall added 10 points. The Bobcats have now lost seven in a row.

Fullerton shot a lights-out 61.5 percent from the field in the first half to take a commanding 47-24 lead into halftime. Montana State made good on just 8- of-23 from the field in the frame.

The Bobcats improved its shooting to 45.8 percent after the break but Fullerton kept pace by connecting on 53.8 of their field goals in the second half.

Fullerton held a dominating advantage in points in the paint, 36-6.
