WICHITA (FoxKansas.com) -- Police were searching Thursday for three men who robbed and shot a man in south Wichita during a late night attack.
The 19-year-old victim, whose identity was pending, was taken for medical treatment to Wesley Medical Center, where he later died. Police said the man was shot about 9 p.m. at a home located in the 3000 block of East Locust.
It was not immediately clear how if the victim knew the suspects or what was taken during the incident.
According to reports, three unidentified men fled from the scene in a gold- or rust-colored SUV. Police said one of the suspects was identified as a black male who was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt.
