Going to a job fair is a great way to find a job. Here's a list of things you should bring with you to make the most of the opportunity. First, bring a great attitude. You have less than 4 seconds to make a first impression. Your attitude is the greatest influence on the impression you make. Solid eye contact and a strong handshake are a must. Bring several copies of your resume on good quality paper. Make sure that you check for grammar and spelling errors. Show that you take the job fair as seriously as the recruiting companies. Depending on the job you're after, you may wish to bring a portfolio with samples of your work. Bring your sense of flexibility along... there are likely to be many suitable vacancies. Finally, along with a positive attitude, the most important thing to bring is a point of view. That is, think from an employer's point of view. Companies want to recruit the best staff to drive their companies forward. They'll be pleased to meet with you to discuss opportunities, however you should be ready to sell yourself to them.
